Council is committed towards the social welfare of its community, in particular its vulnerable and less fortunate members. The generous donation from one of our development partners WESCO GROUP Namibia, has made it possible for The First Servant, His Worship, the Mayor Hon. Cllr. Phillippus A. Balhao in the company of Her Worship, the Deputy Hon. Cllr. Brigitte Fredericks, and Hon. Cllr. Josephine Heita to surprise the Faith Valley “Simcha” Family Restoration Centre, Brightstar Montessori Pre-Primary and Elementary, Angra Pequena Senior Secondary, Lüderitz Secondary, Diaz Primary, Hellen Van Rhijn and Nautilus Primary Schools, the New Generations Soup Kitchen and Excellence Kindergarten. The First Servant and his entourage were welcomed visitors on the 08 August 2024 and surely left bright smiles on the faces of the canned fish recipients.
