The oversight exercised by the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Natural Resources, enables them to ensure legislative compliance through the scrutiny and verification of reports by the Ministry of Mines and Energy, Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources, Ministry of Environment, Tourism and Forestry and the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform. The Committee reported for duty in Lüderitz and graced the First Citizen with a courtesy call, to amongst other aspects; seek the blessings of the Mayor and brief His Worship on their intended activities and engagements whilst in Lüderitz this week. The Chairperson of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Natural Resources, Hon. Tweya [M.P.] is accompanied by Hon. Vries [M. P.] and Hon. Witbooi [M. P.] and will be engaged in accessing the socio-economic impact between wildlife and humans with the aim of creating a balanced and sustainable environment for all to thrive within, the Committee will be tabling their findings in Parliament for adjudication and further adoption.
