The impending industrial scale Green Hydrogen Energy Project slated for the Tsau //Khaeb National Park in Lüderitz has witnessed the influx of researchers funded by the Federal Republic of Germany. These professionals aim at ascertaining various socio-economic factors with the vision of ensuring the town is geared towards meeting the needs both from a social and infrastructural aspect. The team from the Gesellschaft für Chemische Technik und Biotechnologie e. V. indicated during their engagement with Council that, they are keen to understand the impacts and risks that, the Green Hydrogen Energy Project could have on both the town and its residents, with the ultimate goal of ensuring mitigation.
